Tri-pod
Going out to get a tri-pod today. Just gonna get a cheap one for now. I'll take some photos with it this afternoon.
A rookie photographer determined to get better at it. Please take a minute and make a comment on one or two of my pictures. Tell me if you like or hate and why. I'm using a Canon S2 IS, Just a point and shoot.

no no no no no, don't get a cheap one. I did that and after about two years it was caput, none functional, broken, of little use. The one I have now is a middle of the road style with spikes on the bottom for ice, slippery surfaces, and a roll down shoe for carpets and non-slip surfaces.
There is also an arm that allows one to set the camera at different angals, hights, side ways, up side down even, and more.
I also bought a case for it and it has been one of the best buys I have done for my camera system.
I also bought an aluminum case with padding on the inside. It has been very useful as I have been able to check the camera cases in as lugage on planes.
Never short change yourself with photography. If I use 400 asa film for my normal srl camera, and I have a fugi digital camera, looking for a new one that does more now that I am more comfortable with digital photography.
Good luck and continue having fun with your adventures.
is it going to be the tripartite, fleur de lis...something...crap. I don't know.
